A great looking site and easy to navigate.
Do you realise that it has been copied by Tintwistle Band? I think that plagiarism is deceitful and dishonest. They don't acknowledge your work. You can still see your band name in the ,title. code on the welcome page. How stupid!Admin reply: Hi Whistleblower.
I have E-mailed Tintwistle's Chairman.
I am awaiting his reply.

hey phil, you know, after all these months since i had to leave band for uni, i'd have thought you'd have took my out of date profile off! especially as i'm not signed with you guys anymore either!

It's good to see the band is going from strength to strength. I played in the band for over 10 years and left at the end of 1997 after winning the national finals. For the majority of that time I played on the back row with the occasional foray on to the front row. I also did a solo a couple of times, which was the high point of my time at Freck. I also enjoyed playing drums in the 10 piece on a few occasions.
I left the band due to work commitments and wanted to spend more time with my girlfriend who did not play a band (a mortal sin in the brass band world). This turned out to be the right decision as my then girlfriend is now my wife of 7 years and we are expecting our first child next year!
I can’t believe how fast 10 years has passed and how many familiar faces are still there! Pass my regards on to the band and those who remember me. I was a quiet, shy lad who enjoyed the occasional half.
